Love lasts forever

Love lasts forever. Why did I choose this as the name of the blog? It is a reminder that there are many things in this world, that do not last. What is regularily on your mind? Maybe your money that you invested in stocks? Maybe the house that you bought that needs maintenance? Or maybe you worry about your health and think about the sickness you have. Next question: will it last forever?
Probably not. The bible tells us that there are three things that last forever, which are faith, hope and love, and the greatest of these is love
(1 Corinthians 13:13). You probably have noticed this as well: all of the three are not visible, but yet exist.
We know people with and without faith. We know how hopeful people react in a situation and we know how hopelessness looks like.
And love. The author of the letter to the Corinthians reminds us that we should refocus to what is important: “So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.” (2 Corinthians 4:18)

And as love is the greatest of the three mentioned it makes sense to have a closer look at it and learn more about it. Let’s do it!
